The 18^th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (WCEE2024), held in Milan from June 30^th to July 5^th, 2024, has been a remarkable success. It was a truly global event, with over 4250 participants from 82 countries, making it one of the largest gatherings in the conference’s history.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for making WCEE2024 a professionally rewarding and enjoyable event.

Highlights included 1700 participants for the Welcome Reception, 3820 final submissions from 3720 authors, 161 technical sessions with 340 convenors from 70 countries, 40 side meetings, 4 technical visits and over 110 exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements. Memorable events like the evening at La Scala Theatre with 1800 participants and the Conference Party added to the enriching experience.

In light of the great success of this event, we have decided to keep the conference site active, with all its content available to those interested.
